This custom sauna was built for a Finnish client in Hua Hin, blending Scandinavian sauna tradition with the warmth of Thai craftsmanship. Designed to serve as both an indoor and outdoor retreat, it sits comfortably at 1,850 × 2,350 mm — a compact yet generously proportioned cabin ideal for personal use.
The interior and exterior are finished entirely in teak, chosen for its natural durability, rich grain, and exceptional resistance to Thailand's humid climate. A 9 kW premium heater drives the heat efficiently, delivering an authentic Finnish löyly experience right on the Gulf of Thailand coast.
For a Finnish client, the bar was high — and this build met it. Every detail, from the timber joinery to the heater placement, was considered carefully to honour the tradition while suiting a tropical setting.
