This indoor sauna was built for a private client in Hua Hin, and it turned out to be one of those straightforward, satisfying projects where everything came together cleanly from the start.
The cabin measures 2,350 × 1,950 mm and is finished throughout in teak — a timber that handles the humidity of a coastal environment particularly well, and one that only gets more beautiful with regular use. The warm, golden tones of the wood give the interior a calm, grounded feeling.
Heating is handled by a 9 kW electric heater, which is well matched to the room volume and brings the sauna up to temperature efficiently. The client can expect a steady, even heat and plenty of steam when water is poured over the stones.
