This custom indoor sauna was built for the private venue of a 134-year-old sports club in the heart of Bangkok — one of the city's most storied institutions, set within a rare green oasis in the middle of the capital. We were commissioned to create a sauna worthy of the space: a room reserved exclusively for members on special occasions.
The cabin measures 3,600 × 2,500 mm and is built entirely in red cedar, a timber chosen for its natural warmth, gentle aroma, and proven resilience in Thailand's humid climate. Heat is delivered by an 18 kW sauna heater, sized to bring a room of this volume up to temperature efficiently. The result is a sauna that feels as considered as its surroundings.
