How cold can the chiller get the water?

The chiller can cool water down to 3°C (37°F). Temperature is adjustable from 3-42°C via the touch panel or smartphone app so that you can set your preferred cold plunge temperature.

Can I control the chiller from my phone?

Yes. Download the free Tuya Smart app (iOS or Android) and connect your chiller to your Wi-Fi network. You can turn it on/off, adjust the temperature, set schedules, and monitor water flow from anywhere.

Does it also heat water?

Yes. All our chillers include a heating function, making them true heat pumps. You can warm water up to 42°C for contrast therapy or hot tub use.

How long does it take to cool the water?

Cooling time depends on your tub volume, starting water temperature, and ambient conditions. For a typical 300L tub in Thailand’s climate, expect 4-8 hours to reach 10°C from room temperature. Once cooled, the chiller maintains temperature efficiently.

What size chiller do I need?

0.8 HP is suitable for standard home ice baths (200-400 litres). 1.0HP handles larger tubs (300-600 litres). 2.0HP is designed for commercial setups, gyms, and spas with extra-large plunge pools.

Is it noisy?

The chiller produces moderate noise, similar to an air conditioning unit, during active cooling. Once target temperature is reached, it cycles on and off to maintain temperature with minimal noise.

Does it need a special electrical setup?

The 0.8HP and 1.0HP models run on standard Thai household power (220-240V). The 2.0HP model draws 12.2A and may require a dedicated circuit. All models must be correctly earthed/grounded.

How do I keep the water clean?

The built-in ozone sterilisation system automatically disinfects the water periodically. Combined with the internal water filter, this keeps water fresh for weeks. We recommend changing water every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage.

Can I use it outdoors in Thailand?

Yes, but protect it from direct sunlight and rain. Our wooden chiller boxes provide weather protection and look great, too. Never submerge or spray the unit with water.

What maintenance is required?

Clean the paper filter element when water flow drops below 14L/min (the display will warn you). Clean the built-in mesh filter monthly. Clean the condenser dust net every three months. Always power off before any maintenance.
