What makes the Fah Modern Sauna different from the barrel and traditional saunas?

The Fah is a contemporary cabin-style sauna with a full glass front and side panel, giving it a sleek, architectural look. It includes premium features as standard – Bluetooth speaker, therapy lighting, and mobile app control – that are not available on our barrel sauna range. The rectangular design also offers more usable interior space compared to a barrel of similar dimensions.

Is the glass safe in a sauna environment?

Yes, all glass panels are 8mm tempered safety glass, designed to withstand the high temperatures and humidity of sauna use. Tempered glass is significantly stronger than standard glass and, if broken, shatters into small, rounded pieces rather than sharp shards.

Can I install this sauna outdoors in Thailand?

Yes, but timber choice matters. Red Cedar offers the best natural resistance to rot, decay, and insects for exposed outdoor settings. Fir performs well in covered outdoor areas. Spruce is recommended for indoor or fully sheltered installations. The asphalt roof shingles protect against rain.

What’s included with the mobile app?

The mobile app lets you control the interior lighting and Bluetooth speaker from your phone. Adjust the therapy lamp colours, dim the lights, and manage your music – all without leaving your seat. The app is available for both Apple and Android devices.

What’s the difference between the heater options?

The Box Stone Heater is the standard option – a reliable enclosed design that heats the stones evenly and provides consistent steam production. The Exposed Stone Heater (premium add-on) displays the stones openly for a more traditional aesthetic and allows for easier water pouring directly onto the rocks. Both use explosion-proof stones rated for sauna temperatures. All of our sauna heaters are TÜV Safety Certified.

Which size should I choose?

The 150 x 110cm is perfect for solo use or couples with limited space – ideal for apartments or as an addition to a home gym. The 200 x 200cm suits most homes and fits 2-4 people comfortably. The 240 x 240cm is great for families or regular entertaining. The 400 x 200cm offers an elongated layout for spaces with limited width—the 480 x 240cm suits serious enthusiasts or small commercial settings. The 600 x 280cm is our largest standard size, featuring a long layout with opposing benches for up to 10 people – ideal for resorts, spas, and commercial venues. Can I order a custom size?

Yes, we can accommodate custom dimensions to fit your specific space. Contact us with your requirements, and we’ll provide a quote. Custom sizes are subject to minimum order requirements and may have longer lead times.

Every Fah Modern Sauna comes complete with: full glass front and side panels, Box Stone Heater (TÜV Safety Certified), explosion-proof stones, explosion-proof interior light, therapy lamp, Bluetooth speaker, mobile app control, wooden bucket and water scoop, temperature gauge, sand timer, door handle, rubber hammer for assembly, asphalt roof shingles, and Installation Manual (English).

How long does assembly take?

Assembly typically takes 1-2 days with 2-3 people for smaller sizes, and 2-3 days with 3-4 people for larger sizes. The panels come pre-assembled, which simplifies installation. Detailed step-by-step instructions are included.

What foundation do I need?

The sauna requires a level, stable surface. For indoor installation, a solid floor is sufficient. For outdoor use, we recommend a concrete pad, paving stones, or a reinforced timber deck. Allow at least 30cm clearance around the sauna for ventilation and access.

How long does delivery take?

The standard delivery timeframe is 3-6 weeks from order confirmation for most locations in Thailand. Remote areas may require additional time. Custom sizes may require additional lead time. We’ll confirm your specific delivery schedule during the ordering process and provide tracking information once your sauna ships.

What ongoing costs should I expect?

Electric heaters typically cost 500-1,000 baht per month in electricity for regular use (3-4 sessions weekly), depending on size. Annual maintenance is minimal – mainly optional timber treatment for outdoor installations and occasional cleaning of the glass panels. The quality construction ensures long-lasting durability with minimal upkeep.

Is this sauna suitable for commercial use?

Yes, particularly the larger sizes: 400 x 200cm, 480 x 240cm, and 600 x 280cm. The 10-person model is specifically designed for resorts, spas, and wellness centres. The premium features and striking design make it a standout addition to boutique hotels and high-end Airbnb properties.
