What window options are available?

Choose from four back-end configurations. The 1/2 Window offers a curved acrylic panel that floods the interior with natural light while maintaining a traditional sauna feel. The Full Flat Window maximises your view with a large flat glass panel. The Full Curved Panoramic Window provides the most expansive visual experience, wrapping around the barrel’s curve for stunning 180-degree views. No Window gives a fully enclosed traditional barrel sauna experience with maximum heat retention.

Should I add the front porch?

The front porch creates a dedicated space for cooling down between sessions, storing towels and accessories, and transitioning in and out of the sauna. It’s particularly useful for outdoor installations where you want a sheltered entry point. If space is limited or you’re installing near an existing deck or patio, the no-porch option keeps the footprint compact.

What’s the difference between the heater options?

The Box Stone Heater is the standard option – a reliable enclosed design that heats the stones evenly and provides consistent steam production. The Exposed Stone Heater (premium add-on) displays the stones openly for a more traditional aesthetic and allows for easier water pouring directly onto the rocks. Both use explosion-proof stones rated for sauna temperatures. All of our sauna heaters are TÜV Safety Certified.

Can I control the temperature from my phone?

Yes, the Wi-Fi App add-on lets you control your sauna temperature from your Apple or Android device. Preheat your sauna before you arrive home, monitor temperatures remotely, and adjust settings without leaving your seat. The standard on-heater control works perfectly for those who prefer simple manual operation.

What’s the difference between the wood options?

Spruce is a light blonde, affordable entry-level wood best suited for indoor or covered installations. Hemlock is a light-coloured softwood with excellent insulation, minimal scent, and good moisture resistance. Thermo Pine is heat-treated for enhanced durability and moisture resistance, with a rich caramel-brown colour ideal for outdoor use. Spliced Red Cedar is the premium option, featuring a distinctive reddish-brown colour, an aromatic scent, and superior natural rot resistance. All woods perform well in Thailand’s climate – the choice depends on your installation location, aesthetic preferences, and budget.

Is this sauna suitable for outdoor use in Thailand?

Yes, this barrel sauna is designed for outdoor installation in tropical climates. Thermo Pine and Spliced Red Cedar offer the best natural resistance to rot, decay, and insects for exposed outdoor settings. Hemlock performs well in covered outdoor areas. Spruce is recommended for indoor or fully sheltered installations. The waterproof asphalt roof shingles protect against heavy rain, while the 38mm thick walls provide excellent insulation. All window options use weather-resistant, UV-stable materials.

What’s included with my sauna?

Every barrel sauna comes complete with: Box Stone Heater (TÜV Safety Certified), explosion-proof stones, explosion-proof interior light, wooden bucket and water scoop, temperature gauge, sand timer, wooden door handle, 8mm transparent tempered glass door, rubber hammer for assembly, asphalt roof shingles, and Installation Manual (English). Everything you need to get started is in the kit.

How long does assembly take?

With 3-4 people working together, assembly typically takes 2-3 days due to the larger size. Window sections are preassembled where applicable, simplifying installation. Detailed step-by-step instructions are included. The rubber hammer provided and basic hand tools are all that’s required.

What foundation do I need?

The sauna requires a level, stable surface that can support a weight of 650-750kg when occupied. Recommended options include concrete pads, paving stones, or reinforced timber decking. The surface should extend to accommodate the front porch (if selected) and allow at least 50cm clearance on all sides for ventilation and access.

How long does delivery take?

The standard delivery timeframe is 3-6 weeks from order confirmation for most locations in Thailand. Remote areas may require additional time. We’ll confirm your specific delivery schedule during the ordering process and provide tracking information once your sauna ships.

What ongoing costs should I expect?

Electric heaters typically cost 600-1,000 baht per month in electricity for regular use (3-4 sessions per week) due to their larger interior volume. Annual maintenance is minimal – mainly optional timber treatment and occasional cleaning of glass or acrylic surfaces. The stainless steel components and quality timber construction ensure long-lasting durability with minimal upkeep.

Is the 6-8 person sauna suitable for commercial use?

Yes, this is our most popular size for resorts, spas, wellness centres, and Airbnb properties. The generous capacity comfortably accommodates guest groups, while the durable construction withstands frequent use. The Wi-Fi temperature control add-on is handy for commercial settings, allowing staff to preheat the sauna remotely before guest arrival.

How much space do I need for this sauna?

Plan for a footprint of approximately 3.5m × 3m minimum, including clearance around the sauna. If adding the front porch, extend the length by 60cm. The 220cm diameter requires adequate ceiling height if installed indoors or under a covered area. Most suburban gardens and resort grounds comfortably accommodate this size.
