A sleek, modern sauna with full glass front and side panels — designed for indoor installation. Built in Thailand by our Finnish sauna craftsman using authentic construction techniques refined for tropical conditions.

This model measures 2200 × 2200 × 2300mm and comfortably seats 4 people. Without an external roof, the Narak sits neatly within existing structures — home gyms, spare rooms, basements, garages, or commercial wellness facilities.

The galvanised steel frame and tongue-and-groove timber panels deliver solid, lasting construction. Expansive 12mm tempered glass floods the interior with light, while built-in ventilation maintains optimal airflow during use.

Choose from six timber options: Teak, Red Cedar, Pine, or Pine with Shou Sugi Ban finish in light, medium or dark char. All timber is selected for durability in high-heat environments.

The sauna arrives as pre-built panels — four walls, ceiling, and flooring — that slot together without complex construction. Assembly takes 2-4 hours with basic DIY skills and a helper. Professional installation is available on request.

Every Narak indoor sauna room includes a traditional, TÜV Safety Certified, stone heater with wall-mounted touchscreen control, sauna stones, interior light, bucket and ladle, thermometer, and sand timer. Add Wi-Fi connectivity to control the app from your Apple or Android device.

Custom sizing is available if you require different dimensions — contact us to discuss your requirements.

Teak

  • Premium tropical hardwood with natural oils that resist moisture, decay and insects. Honey-gold tone that weathers gracefully. Exceptionally durable with a luxurious feel underfoot.

Red Cedar

  • Premium softwood with a rich reddish-brown colour and striking natural grain. Naturally aromatic with oils that resist rot, insects and moisture — releasing a subtle woody scent when heated. The gold standard for outdoor saunas and a timeless choice for any installation.

Pine

  • Classic Nordic sauna timber with a light, natural appearance. Sustainably sourced softwood that performs well in high-heat environments. Cost-effective choice with traditional Scandinavian character.

Pine Shou Sugi Ban – Light

  • Pine treated with the Japanese charring technique for enhanced durability and a subtle smoky finish. Light char preserves the natural grain while adding surface protection and a contemporary edge.

Pine Shou Sugi Ban – Medium

  • Deeper char creates a rich, burnished appearance with pronounced grain texture. The traditional Japanese preservation method improves weather resistance and delivers a striking two-tone aesthetic.

Pine Shou Sugi Ban – Dark

  • Full char treatment produces a dramatic charcoal-black finish with distinctive texture. Maximum surface protection with bold visual impact. A statement piece for modern sauna design.

  • If using a bucket and ladle, empty any remaining water

Weekly Maintenance

  • Check the heater stones are properly stacked and not crumbling
  • Clean the door glass with a soft cloth and water

  • Check ventilation openings are clear and unobstructed

Seasonal Checks

  • Inspect exterior timber for any signs of weathering or damage
  • Apply timber oil to exterior surfaces if needed (outdoor saunas)

  • Replace heater stones every 1-2 years or when they start to crumble

What to Avoid

  • Never use harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners inside the sauna
  • Don't seal or varnish interior timber – it needs to breathe
  • Avoid leaving wet towels or items inside when not in use
  • Don't pour excessive water on the heater – gentle steam only

Q: What's the difference between The Narak and The Fah?

A: The Narak and The Fah share the same quality construction, glass panels, and timber options. The key difference is location: The Narak is designed for indoor installation and doesn't include an external roof. The Fah includes a black aluminium ribbed profile roof with 150mm overhang, making it suitable for fully exposed outdoor installation.

Q: Can I install The Narak outdoors?

A: The Narak is designed for indoor use. If you want an outdoor sauna, choose The Fah which includes an integrated weatherproof roof. Alternatively, The Narak can be installed under a fully covered structure like a carport or pool pavilion — but for exposed locations, The Fah is the better choice.

Q: Is the glass safe in a sauna environment?

A: Yes, all glass panels are 12mm tempered safety glass, designed to withstand the high temperatures and humidity of sauna use. Tempered glass is significantly stronger than standard glass and, if broken, shatters into small, rounded pieces rather than sharp shards.

Q: Which timber should I choose for indoor installation?

A: For indoor use, all six timber options perform well. Pine offers traditional Nordic character at the best price point. Red Cedar provides a rich colour and natural aroma. Teak delivers premium durability and a luxurious feel. Pine Shou Sugi Ban adds a contemporary charred aesthetic. Choose based on your visual preference and budget.

Q: Do I need to hire a professional to install The Narak indoor sauna room?

A: Not necessarily. The sauna arrives as pre-built panels — four walls, ceiling, and flooring — that slot together without complex construction. Anyone with basic DIY skills can assemble it in 2-4 hours with a helper. It's similar to assembling flat-pack furniture, just on a larger scale. Detailed instructions are included. If you'd prefer professional installation, contact us for a quote.

Q: What room requirements are there for indoor installation?

A: You'll need a level floor, adequate ceiling height (minimum 2.2m recommended), and sufficient ventilation in the room. The sauna itself has built-in ventilation, but the surrounding space should allow heat and moisture to dissipate. A nearby drain is helpful but not essential. Ensure your electrical supply can support the heater — typically a dedicated circuit is required.

Q: What electrical requirements does the heater need?

A: The included 6kW heater requires a dedicated circuit. For single phase (200-240V), you'll need 28A capacity and 6.0mm² wire. For three phase (380-415V), you'll need 9A capacity and 2.5mm² wire. Single phase is available for heaters up to 12kW. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.

Q: What's the difference between the heater options?

A: The traditional stone heater is the standard option — a reliable enclosed design that heats the stones evenly and provides consistent steam production. Exposed stone heaters (premium add-on) display the stones openly for a more traditional aesthetic and allow easier water pouring directly onto the rocks. All heaters are TÜV Safety Certified.

Q: How do I control the temperature?

A: Every Narak indoor sauna room includes a wall-mounted touchscreen controller for precise temperature management. For added convenience, you can add WiFi connectivity to control your sauna from your Apple or Android device using the app — preheat your sauna before you're ready to use it.

Q: Which size should I choose?

A: We offer five standard sizes of The Narak indoor sauna room ranging from compact 2-3 person units to larger models suitable for families or commercial use. If none of our standard sizes suits your space, we can build a custom size to your exact requirements.

Q: Can I order a custom size?

A: Yes. All Narak indoor sauna rooms are built locally in Thailand by our Finnish sauna craftsman, so we can accommodate custom dimensions to fit your specific space. Contact us with your requirements for a quote.

Q: What's included with my sauna?

A: Every Narak indoor sauna room comes complete with: full glass front and side panels (12mm tempered), insulated ceiling panel, traditional TÜV Safety Certified 6kW stone heater, wall-mounted touchscreen controller, sauna-grade stones, heat-safe interior light, wooden bucket and ladle, wall-mounted thermometer, hourglass sand timer, wooden door handle, and installation manual (English).

Q: What foundation do I need?

A: The sauna requires a level, stable surface. A solid concrete floor, tiles, or reinforced timber flooring all work well. Allow at least 30cm clearance around the sauna for ventilation and access.

Q: How long does delivery take?

A: Standard delivery is 4-6 weeks from order confirmation for most locations in Thailand. Custom sizes may require additional lead time. We'll confirm your specific delivery schedule during the ordering process.

Q: What ongoing costs should I expect?

A: Electric heaters typically cost ฿500-1,000 per month in electricity for regular use (3-4 sessions weekly), depending on size and heater wattage. Maintenance is minimal — occasional cleaning of the glass panels and timber is all that's required.

Q: Is The Narak indoor sauna room suitable for commercial use?

A: Yes. The galvanised steel frame and quality construction handle frequent use, and the striking contemporary design makes it a standout addition to hotel spas, fitness centres, and wellness facilities. Contact us to discuss sizing and configuration for commercial installations.
